Terry has years of experience performing for children – watch him bring history to life, as you've never seen it before

 

We thought you might like to read something about the people behind Histories for Kids – Terry and Laura Lynch.

Terry Lynch.

Terry Lynch.Terry has 20 years’ experience as a professional actor in Chicagoland. He has trained at, among others: Northern Illinois University, Second City Training Center, and Improv Olympic. He has been seen with Emerald City Theatre, spent seven seasons with AlphaBet Soup Productions, and has performed in professional theater, radio and television around Chicago.

He was the original Frosty in the premiere season of “Frosty Returns” with Emerald City Theatre. In his seven seasons with AlphaBet Soup, he has been seen in many roles, some of which include: King Ozzie in “Sleeping Beauty,” the Giant in “Jack and the Beanstalk,” Papa in “Rumplestilskin,” Baloo in “The Jungle Book,” Peter Cottontail in “The Easter Egg Caper,” Santa in the “Santa Sack Capers,” and has been seen as both Papa and Louie in two versions of “Beauty and the Beast.”

Terry has performed at theaters around Chicago including Circle Theatre, Donny’s Skybox, and National Pastime. He appeared in an episode of Early Edition, with Kyle Chandler, and has most recently been heard in radio spots for St. Paul Federal in Chicago and St. Anthony's Children’s Hospital in St. Louis.

Laura Lynch.

Laura Lynch.All programs are researched by Laura Lynch. Laura has been an Illinois Certified Teacher for 15 years, with endorsements in Language Arts as well as Social Science. She has a degree in Elementary Education from St. Xavier University, Chicago. Not only is she a member of Who’s Who in American Education, but is also listed in Who’s Who Among Young American Professionals.
